Artist statement
Gemma is an award-winning designer, illustrator, and writer interested in nature, history, and folklore. She has worked with clients such as Kiehl’s and Bath Christmas Market. Her personal work has featured in the Lore and Land exhibition, which is going on tour in 2025, and Earthly Beauty at Pound Arts in Corsham. She is the founder of The Myconauts Magazine, all about mycology, ecology, and community. The Myconauts is currently stocked in magazine shops across the UK including Magalleria in Bath, Magculture in London, and Unitom in Manchester. Issue 3 will be out October 2025.
