Alex Duarte-Davies
Artist statement
Alex Duarte-Davies is the Director of the theatre careers and EDI charity Get Into Theatre. Formerly Head of Community and Outreach at the Theatre Royal Bath, and a freelance theatre Producer, Director, and Practitioner, she is a firm believer that theatre—both making and watching—should be open and accessible to everyone. A Bath Spa University graduate, Alex is passionate about nurturing emerging talent and is dedicated to ensuring that the next generation of artists are empowered to flourish into confident, creative professionals who will shape a more inclusive and representative future for the industry. She is also deeply interested in cross-sector collaboration within the creative industries, recognising the power of partnership to drive innovation, accessibility, and lasting cultural impact.
