Anna Wilmott is a painter who uses water-soluble oils to capture ephemeral encounters and shifting hierarchies between natural and manmade subjects in Bath. Starting from her own photographs, she plays with focal points, depth, saturation and light, using vivid colour to emphasise changing seasons, and ultimately celebrating serendipity – the discovery of something exciting by chance.
