Artist statement
Claire Clark is a conceptual artist with a feminist focus. She holds a Master’s in Fine Art from Bath Spa University, and was awarded two residencies at Emerge Studios in Bath (2023-2025). Claire’s work is primarily sculptural and autobiographical in context. She explores emotionally charged issues such as miscarriage, hysterectomy, and the fragility of life. Through her art, she aims to spark necessary conversations around these socially challenging themes.
