Artist statement
Emily is a maker, material investigator and creative facilitator working with clay and people. Her practice spans material research - exploring clay’s autonomy, ritual and memory - alongside artist development and arts management. She also runs a small-batch ceramics studio, creating considered, quiet objects, designed to be loved and lived alongside.
