Artist statement
Louise works across a range of materials and processes, drawing on her background in product design to explore the space between expressive form and function. Working with mediums such as acrylic resin and textiles, she creates pieces that celebrate material qualities and tactile experience. Her practice balances design discipline with intuitive making, using colour and form as tools for expression. Through both sculptural and functional works, Louise investigates how objects can evoke curiosity and connection.
