Natalie Bedford
Artist statement
Natalie is a dynamic visual artist who blends diverse media and concepts to push the boundaries of traditional painting. After completing her MA in Fine Art Painting at Bath Spa University, she developed a distinctive style that explores paint, language, and film to investigate tension, hidden dialogues, and human interaction. Rooted in observational drawing – portraiture, landscape, and nature – her work is less about representation and more about probing deeper questions of perception, connections, and life cycles. Natalie has exhibited widely, including at The Royal Academy, BSA, and 44AD Gallery. She has held residencies in Canada, Cornwall, and at Bath Spa University. She also teaches and leads workshops that inspire creativity in others.
