Artist statement
Shaunna Monks is a comedy writer and performer. Having graduated from her degree in BA (Hons) Comedy at Bath Spa University last year, she is now continuing her creative practice at Emerge. She is currently working on her debut one woman show, which, after sold out performances in Bath and Manchester, made its way to Brighton Fringe in May 2025. She is looking forward to developing her skills in stand-up comedy and presenting this year, and to participating in collaborative opportunities.
