Bio

Charlotte Godfrey co-founded Emerge in 2020 alongside like-minded colleagues. With a background as a creative producer and production manager, she is passionate about creative placemaking, community building, partnerships, and supporting emerging professional growth. Charlotte previously worked in broadcast production across Unscripted TV and Digital at the BBC, with experience in studio filming, national and international shoots, and immersive technologies. She has produced initiatives in partnership with Arts Council England through regional projects that foster creative networks and champion inclusive opportunities within the creative industries. Her work focuses on creative practice and freelancing, aiming to remove barriers to independence and empower creatives to thrive professionally.
